Colorado State Patrol Trooper David Kerker investigates a one-car accident on Rabbit Ears Pass this afternoon. The driver lost control of his pickup, which left the road and rolled several times before coming to a stop approximately 150 feet from the highway. The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Republican State Sen. Jack Taylor, R-Steamboat Springs, repairs a sign showing the Routt County Republicans' support for candidates John McCain and Sarah Palin in front of an office building on U.S. Highway 40 in Steamboat Springs. The sign has been the target of repeated vandalism. Taylor, and and Vance Halvorson, chairman of the Routt County Republican Central Committee, have replaced or repaired the sign several times in the past couple of weeks.

Volunteers, left to right, Torey Wodnik, Audrey Kruse, Diane Carter and Beth Wendler seem to be backed by presidential candidate Barack Obama on Monday while urging passing motorists to go vote Monday on the first day of early voting in Steamboat Springs. The volunteers, who were all with the Obama Campaign, held up signs, including one depicting Obama himself, for Democratic candidates and a few that simply reminded people they could go vote.
