Friday morning's Fourth of July parade on Lincoln Avenue in Steamboat Springs was plenty warm enough for shorts and tank tops. Reminders of Ski Town USA weren't hard to find, however, and parade-goers were updated about just how long they have to wait before hitting the local slopes again.

The city's Fourth of July parade was designed for children, but most adults were smiling just as big as red, white and blue floats rolled down Lincoln Avenue on Friday for one of the biggest parades in Steamboat Springs history.
