Steamboat Springs freestyle skier Kara Johnson battles through several inches of fresh powder on the Voo Doo mogul course Friday during the first day of the Landon Sawyer CU Bump Bash at Steamboat. Johnson's run earned her the top spot after the first run in the Rocky Mountain Division competition, which will continue today with another single moguls event starting at 10 a.m.
