Subaru Rally Team USA driver Travis Pastrana won the 2006 Rally Colorado. He narrowly trails Andrew Pinker in the overall Rally America National Championship tour series standings and will be looking to repeat at this weekend's race outside of Hayden.

Tanner Foust and co-driver Scott Crouch had a successful race at last year's Rally Colorado until the layers of mud caused their Subaru's rear suspension to fail on the last stage. They rolled down a hill, destroyed the car and did not finish. Foust is determined to return to his "home course," starting Saturday, for a Rally America win.
