Steamboat Springs sophomore Kacey Bull competes in the barrel racing event June 22 at the Colorado State High School Rodeo Finals at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Bull took eighth place in the event and was named to the 2006-07 Wrangler High School All Star Rodeo Team.

A fire destroys the Main Lodge at Lowell Whiteman School on Feb. 9, 1977. After returning from their spring foreign trip, Lowell Whiteman students finished classes at Perry-Mansfield, and construction began on the Charley Williams Lodge that summer.
