John Green, a maintenance worker for the City of Steamboat's Parks, Open Space and Recreational Services Department, prepares Adams Field at Howelsen Hill for the upcoming adult softball season. A site covering two of the fields at Howelsen has been studied as a possible site for a new recreation center in Steamboat Springs.
