The Staxx restaurant area and kitchen in the city-owned Haymaker Golf Course clubhouse could provide a temporary home for the Routt County Council on Aging's senior citizens meal program next winter. The program will be without a home while a new community center is built at the Stock Bridge Transit Center west of downtown Steamboat.

When the Steamboat Springs City Council decided Tuesday night to pay $3.6 million for a new community center, plans for Bud Werner Memorial Library also became much clearer.
