Lowell Whiteman Primary School students Noah Bass, from left, Noah Zedeck, Jesse Laughlin and Madeline Craig-Scheckman were among 17 of the school's students to perform for the National Association of Independent Schools at the Denver Convention Center last week. A proposed Steamboat Springs Youth Orchestra would provide an avenue for many other young local musicians.
