Passengers unload the Union Pacific Operation Lifesaver Safety Train on Thursday near the Depot Art Center. The train took passengers to Craig and back to Steamboat. The free ride included a railroad safety talk as well as talks about the history of the railroad, the Depot and Mount Harris.

One of the smaller 2-year-old bulls that will be used for the junior bull riding roams the Brent Romick Rodeo Arena Thursday afternoon. The smaller bulls have less power than those ridden by the professional cowboys and less experience. However, Brent Romick thinks many of them will become stars on the PBR and PRCA tours in the future.

The 2005 USATF Masters Mountain Runner of the Year is one of many elite levels gunning for a national title and a spot on the U.S. Mountain Running Team.
