The Free Summer Concert Series opens Wednesday with a performance by The Wailers at 7 p.m. at Howelsen Hill. Spectators are encouraged to take nonperishable food items to donate to LIFT-UP of Routt County.

Reggae band The Wailers kicks off free summer concerts
Few bands have been together as long as The Wailers, arguably the most celebrated reggae band of all time and made famous in the 1960s and '70s by Bob Marley and hit songs such as "Buffalo Soldier" and "Redemption Song."
