Steamboat Springs firefighter Jeanne Power works on a hot spot at a wildfire located behind a home at 2749 Ridge Road on Tuesday afternoon. The fire was within 10 feet of the home, but most of the flames were concentrated on a fallen tree.

A small wildfire in the backyard of a home near the Steamboat Ski Area was extinguished Tuesday before it could cause any structural damage.
