City of Steamboat Springs employee David VanWinkle tunes up a 1938 crawler tractor while his colleague, David Girty, operates a more modern tractor to push snow to the top of a pile at the city's snow storage area. The nearly 70-year-old crawler tractor was donated to the city by the Appel family and it will be used in the Diamond Hitch Parade during this year's Winter Carnival.
