Ace at the Curve owner Dennis Swanson says the atmosphere inside the family-owned hardware store has not changed much in the 60 years his family has been in the business. His parents bought the family's first hardware store in 1946 in Batavia, Ill. Swanson opened his Steamboat store in 1984.
