The Illig family from Rochester, N.Y., takes a break underneath the Billy Kidd statue, which was covered with some fresh powder Wednesday morning, at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. The ski area reported more than 8 inches of snow fell from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday afternoon.
