"Bricks and Trains," handmade multi media book by Laura Wait. The original manuscript is by Wait, a memoir of time spend in London, England, when she was studying bookbinding. The manuscript is handwritten on pages painted with acrylic, with brick motifs applied with a specifically made brayer. Each book (there are seven varied editions) has two color monoprints and six etchings, inspired by drawings when she lived in England in the late 1970's. The monoprints are unique to each book, although they have related imagery. Six etching are printed on Japanese Udaban paper.

The text of the book is an alternate story of Adam and Eve, written by the artist and printed with wood type on a Takach etching press using Akua-color. The pages are also toned by hand-coloring.
