The Yampa River winds its way Thursday towards the Brooklyn neighborhood southeast of downtown Steamboat Springs. Wednesday, local and state water officials finalized a funding package that, by July 2007, will bring $1 million for water projects in northwest Colorado.

Bejeweled bras decorated with dazzling colors, fabrics and textures will be the entries for the 5th Annual Bust of Steamboat. It's a fun and whimsical fundraiser for a serious subject breast cancer. The bras will be on display for the month of October at local banks and then auctioned to the highest bidder at a reception and live auction from 5-8 p.m. today at Three Peaks Grill.
