Steamboat Springs snowboarder Johanna Shaw, pictured her in an event last season, won the slalom at a Race to the Cup event at Copper Mountain on Tuesday. Other current and former Steamboat riders also fared well.

If it wasn't clear just how strong the snowboarders from the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club were before Monday's parallel giant slalom race in Copper Mountain, it was afterward.
