Mrs. Betty B. Davis died peacefully May 3, 2012, at 96. She was born May 11, 1915, in Rochester, N.Y., to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Anastasia Arton. She moved to Steamboat Springs and lived there for more than 60 years. In 2010, she moved to Athens, Ga.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Mr. Homer Davis.
Survivors include a niece, Diane Ruberti, of Athens; nephew, James Arton, of Bowling Green, Ohio; and several great nieces and nephews.
Steamboat residents may remember the sweet little lady in the Vintage Blue VW bug. She had a smile for everyone, and this fiery, wonderful person will be missed.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. May 6, 2012, at Lord & Stephens east chapel with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating.
