Tammara “Tammie” Smith was born July 4, 1960, in Rawlins, Wyo., to Eddie and Elva (Adams) Basden. She attended school in Rawlins until she moved to Steamboat Springs as a junior in high school. She graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1978.
Tammie went to nursing school at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz. She was an RN who previously worked at Poudre Valley Hospital and Associates in Family Medicine in Fort Collins. She was most recently employed at Interim HealthCare.
She is survived by her daughter Jamie Michelle Smith; son Marshall Eugene
Smith; and ex-husband Charles Parker Smith, all of Fort Collins.
A memorial service was held Feb. 16 at Timberline Church in Fort Collins.
