Dr. Mark Norman DePuy, 54, of Amherst, N.H., died at his home Feb. 13, 2011.
He was born in Lakewood, N.J., on Aug. 5, 1956, the son of Ruth (Shoemaker) and Norman DePuy. He majored in biology at the University of Pittsburgh and received his degree in dentistry in 1981 from Ohio State University. He practiced dentistry in Merrimack, N.H., for 25 years.
He enjoyed vacationing with his family in Damariscotta, Maine; photography; and Apple computers.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Victoria (Davis) DePuy, of Amherst; his daughter, Emily Dean DePuy, and his son, Ethan Mark DePuy, of Amherst; his parents, of Concord, N.H.; a sister, the Rev. Susan DePuy Kershaw and her husband, George, of Walpole, N.H.; two brothers, Timothy D. DePuy and his wife, Janice, of Steamboat Springs, and Peter J. DePuy, of Portsmouth, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Union Congregational Church, Peterborough, N.H., at a date to be announced. The Rev. Polly Shamy will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Peterborough.
