Mark Steven Avery, of Steamboat Springs and more recently Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 5, 2009. He was 49.
He was born March 31, 1959. Mark was a loving son, brother, father and husband to his loved ones. He enjoyed a life hunting and fishing with his dad and brothers and being a father to his only son. He has a very large number of family and friends that will miss him terribly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Andrew Avery; sister, Pamela Susan Avery; uncles, Emmerson Avery and Jack Culley, and aunt, Loretta Avery.
He leaves behind a family of loved ones: mother, Arlene Avery, and sister, Niki Avery, of Crisfield, Md.; brothers, Brian Avery and his wife, Mary Ann, of Naperville, Ill.; Chris Avery and his wife, Jennifer, of Roanoke, Texas; sister Jessica Avery, of Spring, Texas; son, Cameron Avery, of Arizona; aunt, Leola Culley, of Colorado; and a very dear cousin, Larry Culley, of Utah. He also is survived by nieces and nephews Dylan, Ryleigh, Cooper, Brian, Cameron, Brandon, Ethan and Jayda; Michelle Avery, of Steamboat Springs; and the Capp family, of Florida. He also leaves behind several additional cousins and many very special friends.
Mark, you were our rock for a very long time, you will be dearly missed every single day. Now you and Dad can fish and hunt as much as you want! Catch the big one! We love you very much, and you will live forever in our hearts.
