Hattie Wooden, a resident of Doak Walker, spread her wings and went to Jesus on Dec. 14, 2008. She is survived by her daughter, "Baby" Akers. She leaves this world having been loved more than one could ever imagine and was responsible for so many learning sign language. She was one of an elite group of great women and was surrounded by great women until the very end. Services will be announced at a later date. Please send donations to Anchor Way Baptist Church.
