Craig resident A.J. Flood passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 16, 2008, at his home. He was 29.
Alfred John Flood was born Nov. 19, 1979, in Phoenix, to Marlene Marks and Timothy Michael Flood. He moved to Steamboat Springs when he was in fifth grade and spent the rest of his life in the Yampa Valley. He attended Steamboat Springs High School.
He loved animals and children, and his friends and family were very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda Flood, and stepson, Joshua Cooper, both of Craig; mother, Marlene Marks and stepfather, Michael Marks, of Steamboat Springs; father, Timothy Michael Flood, of Sedona, Ariz.; sister, Amber Flood, of Sioux Falls, S.D.; grandmother Mardell Eubank, of Steamboat Springs; uncles, Terry and Gary Eubank, both of Steamboat Springs; nephews, Tyler and Michael Eubank; grandmother, Jane Fretz, of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; and grandparents, Bernard and Jean Flood, of Torrance, Calif.
A funeral was held Saturday at Yampa Valley Funeral Home.
