Thomas James Hayden

September 14, 1964 - July 9, 2007

Longtime Hayden resident Thomas James Hayden died July 9, 2007, in Hayden. He was 43.
Tom was born Sept. 14,1964, in Denver to Bill and Judy Hayden. He grew up in Hot Springs, S.D., where he graduated from high school. He aspired to reach his goal of acquiring a baccalaureate degree in business from Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. He had a quiet business sense; unassuming, yet strong, which made him a successful entrepreneur. He had a quiet sense of confidence and radiated a remarkable tranquility.
He is survived by his father, Bill Hayden, stepmother, Andrea, and two brothers, Joe and Dave Hayden, all of Hayden; nieces, Jennifer Kelton of Winnemucca, Nev., and Josey Geissinger of Fort Collins; nephew, Daniel Hayden of Hayden; and his grandmother, Romilda Hayden of Wheatland, Wyo.
His mother, Judy Hayden, preceded him in death.
We remember Tom as a cheerful, happy, loving son and brother who will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Tom Hayden at the Mountain Valley Bank in Hayden. Tom was an avid sports enthusiast and humanitarian and would support donations being made to our local Hayden Booster Club. The Hayden Booster Club raises money for the sole purpose of donating materials
or money to benefit the Hayden School District or organizations associated with the school. Our local track team, sports trophies and other required materials needed for the school that are outside of its budget are benefited by the funds from the Booster Club.
Services for Tom will be at 11 a.m. July 25, 2007, at the Mission of Grace Church, 1 Sunflower Drive in Hayden. A reception will follow during which family and friends can share their memories of Tom.
