Kevin dale schropp
Steamboat Springs resident Kevin Dale Schropp died at his home March 26, 2007. He was 51.
Kevin was born July 2, 1955, in Aurora at Fitzsimmons Army Hospital. He spent much of his childhood living and traveling extensively throughout Europe, North Africa and Hawaii. He graduated from Radford High School in Hawaii and attended Metropolitan State College of Denver, studying criminology. Kevin was a longtime Denver resident and worked for United Airlines for 25 years. He also served as the treasurer of the Westminster Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. In more recent years, he was a graduate and employee of Christian Life Ranch, the Phoenix chapter of the Teen Challenge program.
His favorite color was blue. He loved humor, animals, motorcycles, traveling and a good steak. He had a big heart, quick wit and was an all-around great guy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Sally Schropp.
He is survived by his sister, Karen R. Selbe; his nephews, Chris and Kona Ward; and his niece, Danielle Hodges, of Steamboat Springs.
A memorial service for Kevin was held at noon April 21, 2007, at the Steamboat Christian Center.
He is loved and missed by many!
