Douglas Eugene Seward

1969 - 2006

Hayden resident Douglas Eugene "Doug" Seward II, formerly of Greeley, died Nov. 10, 2006, as a result of a car accident near Belleview.
He was born April 29, 1969, in Brush to Douglas Eugene and Dian (DeLong) Seward.
Doug married Angela Bradford on July 11, 1998, in Allenspark.
The couple has lived in Hayden since 2004.
Doug graduated from Brush High School in 1987. After graduation he moved to Greeley and attended Aims Community College. He later earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. He attended and graduated from the Eaton Academy of Natural Therapy, where he earned his acutherapy certification. While attending college, he worked for King Soopers. He also owned and operated Life Style Therapy, which was located in the Conditioning Spa in Greeley. He later moved his practice to Steamboat Springs and Craig. He worked at the Yampa Valley Medical Center and the Steamboat Smokehouse. He was the director of the Rocky Mountain Connection sports massage team. Doug recently participated in and finished the Steamboat Springs Triathlon, which was a personal goal.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret and Leonard DeLong.
He is survived by his wife, Angela B. Seward of Hayden; his mother and her husband, Dian and Larry Cox of Greeley; and his father and his wife, Doug and Becky Seward of Golden.
A memorial service to celebrate Doug's life was Nov. 15, 2006, at the St. John's United Church of Christ education building in Greeley.
A private family viewing was held. Graveside inurnment services were Nov. 16, 2006, at the Brush Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice in care of Moser Funeral Service, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, CO 80620.
