❱❱ Cody's Challenge — Steamboat Ski Area, 8:30 a.m.
The gondola loads at 7:45 and 8 a.m. for this Randonee ski race at Steamboat Ski Area. The cost is $40 with a season pass or a pass for the event only. Pay $80 to also get a full-day lift ticket. The event includes a post-race barbecue at the Bashor picnic area and a 5:30 p.m. celebration at Bear River Bar & Grill. Profits provide scholarships to help ski patrollers further their medical educations. Call Kyle at 846-9250.

The 18th annual Oak Creek Easter Egg Hunt starts with the Easter Bunny's arrival at 10:30 a.m. at Decker Park and includes prizes and goodies. A scavenger hunt for those ages 13 and older and an adult egg hunt start at 2 p.m. at Black Mountain Tavern.

Skaters of all ages are welcome to skate laps to raise money for programs that support families affected by autism spectrum disorder. The Steamboat Springs Figure Skating Group will perform, and Mambo Italiano pasta dinner tickets will be available at a discounted price with all proceeds going to the Yampa Valley Autism Program.
