The Oak Creek Town Board held a special meeting Thursday night to respond to discuss the Steamboat Pilot & Today’s challenge of a meeting held on September 25. That meeting, held in executive session, was in response to employee complaints about Mayor Cargo Rodeman. But Rodeman was not informed of the meeting and was not allowed to participate in the executive session. The Pilot & Today contends that the meeting therefore was an illegal executive session. We have asked for tapes of the executive session. On Thursday, the Town Board voted to have attorney Bob Weiss research whether Colorado open meeting laws were violated.
