"He'll be talking about creating jobs, building our economy and cutting our nation's debt," Udall spokeswoman Tara Trujillo said.

The dinner is a fundraiser for the Routt County Democratic Party. Proceeds will go toward supporting candidates and issues the party backs in the 2012 election, Routt County Democratic Party Chairwoman Catherine Carson said. The dinner is the largest fundraiser for the group. Admission is $25 at the door, $15 for college students and free for anyone 18 and younger.

The dinner is open to everyone in the community, but those attending are encouraged to bring a potluck dish. There will be a cash bar, and dinner is expected to start at about 6 p.m. The volunteer of the year will be announced after dinner.

"It's always a hard decision because we have so many volunteers," Carson said.
