United Way: Thankful for $20K Day support

We would like to thank the Routt County community for your unwavering support during last week’s $20K Day. We were able to raise $40, 892.76 to continue our support of our community's most critical health and human service needs.

We are so thankful to live in such a generous and synergetic community, where we can all join together to make sure that necessary resources and programs are available to its members.

Another unique characteristic of the Routt County community is the support we receive from local business owners.

Our $10,000 matching partner Yampa Valley Bank was able to go above and beyond their commitment and raise a total of $14,861. The savory pork sliders and sides were generously donated by Rex's Family of Restaurants and a delicious gelato selection was provided by Ciao Gelato.

Steamboat Radio provided a lively broadcast during the event inviting community members to stop by, support United Way and enjoy lunch. We are so grateful for the partnerships we share with our local businesses.

Overall, it was a magnificently successful event. We are now well on our way to meeting our $1,000,000 fundraising need. From the Routt County United Way board and staff, we sincerely thank you.
