Tracy Barnett: Good work

— I wanted to publicly acknowledge Native Excavating for working so well with the downtown businesses and Mainstreet Steamboat Springs during the reconstruction of the sewer lines in the alley between Lincoln Avenue and Oak Street. I know they ran into some unexpected surprises during the job.

I was extremely pleased with their cooperation as far as the farmers market is concerned. The market was only displaced for two weeks. When we were able to return to Sixth Street, Native Excavating made sure each Friday afternoon that the Dumpsters were moved off Sixth Street, the dirt piles were moved and the street was swept.

Working with a local company that understands the importance of the community’s activities and actually cares about them is a wonderful experience.
