Police, fire and ambulance calls
3:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a woman in the 1900 block of Cornice Road who said she had received obscene calls from someone using an unknown phone number.
7:46 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that ran a school bus stoplight on Chinkook Lane. The car could not be located.
7:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said a neighbor had plowed snow onto her driveway in the 3300 block of Aprés Ski Way.
10:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 1000 block of The Boulevard.
10:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury accident at Fish Creek Falls Road and Steamboat Boulevard. There were four other accidents reported during the day, but no serious injuries were reported.
11:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft from a sandwich shop in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The owner suspected an employee had been stealing money from the cash register. The owner noticed the register had been coming up short and then used surveillance video footage to identify the suspect.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A woman had left her purse in a cart. When the purse was returned, it was missing money.
1:56 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a vehicle fire in the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
2:39 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of skis stolen from the Rendezvous Lodge at the Steamboat Ski Area.
3:04 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a 20-year-old man who had fallen and momentarily lost consciousness at Colorado Mountain College.
3:14 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a disturbance in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive in Oak Creek.
4:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a restaurant employee who was concerned about a customer who had been drinking and then drove in the 1700 block of Central Park Drive.
5:19 p.m. A person came to the police department and reported credit card fraud.
5:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 500 block of Anglers Drive. The owner of a condo called and said a cleaning person found there were people in the condo when it was supposed to be unoccupied.
7:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about emergency vehicles being able to get through the area of Fourth and Pine streets, where there were lots of cars parked.
8:14 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a drunken man on Whistler Road. A woman had checked on him, and the man yelled at her. Officers could not locate the man.
9:34 p.m. Officers were called to help a man at a hotel in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police say the man was acting high and drunk, and he did not remember where he was staying. There was no hotel room registered under his name, but two friends came and said he was staying with them.
