8:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue that had been speeding. The car could not be found.
8:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought kids were smashing bottles in the street the previous evening in the 1100 block of Crawford Avenue. No broken glass was found.
9:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Snowflake Circle. A person reported their neighbor's car was in the street when it should have been in the garage. Police are investigating whether someone entered the home and drove the car. It is thought that someone illegally might have entered another residence in the area. Police did not know for certain whether anything had been taken from the residences because they are vacation homes.
11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Eighth and Aspen streets.
11:59 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person at a restaurant in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The transient man does not speak but indicated he was fine. The man has been in the area recently, and police are trying to help him get to Denver.
12:42 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of identity theft in the 40300 block of Anchor Way.

12:52 p.m. A buck knife found at a bank in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue was turned in to police.
1:34 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with a back injury at Seventh and Pine streets.
4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a small amount of marijuana and little bit of an unknown substance found in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.
6:55 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 40 just south of Steamboat. The driver could not be found.
7:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious incident at the Routt County Road 179 Yampa River crossing. A person found footprints near the river and was concerned someone might have fallen in. Everyone was accounted for, and everything was fine.
7:23 p.m. Officers followed up on a report of a man living in Steamboat who looked like Eric Toth, a man on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list. Officers contacted a man in the 1200 block of Walton Creek Road, and it was not him.
10:21 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of what sounded like gunshots in Steamboat II.
10:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people sending each other harassing text messages. They were told to stop.
