Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:16 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who received a threatening letter in the 1800 block of Montview Lane. The letter stated that the woman was to “watch her back.”

11:25 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of South Poplar Street.

12:35 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive.

3:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car swerving at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be located.

3:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Anglers Drive and Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be found.

3:58 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza.

7:22 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

8:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Jeep doing doughnuts at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be found.

8:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an elderly man who stole about $25 in gas from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the 1600 block of Red Hawk Court. They could not be found.

10:30 p.m. Officers were called to help with a person who was belligerent after being asked to leave a bar in the first block of Seventh Street.

10:31 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury in the 2500 block of Daybreak Court.

10:39 p.m. Officers contacted a very drunken person behind a bar in the first block of Fifth Street. The person was released to a sober friend.

11:03 p.m. Officers were contacted by a person in the 600 block of Yampa Street. The man wanted to take a breathalyzer test to see if he could drive. The man was told to take the bus home.

11:04 p.m. Officers contacted a man urinating at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The man was given a written warning.

11:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks at Seventh and Pine streets.
