Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers found a car with an open door on Copper Ridge Circle. They closed the door.

9:31 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person at Steamboat Lake State Park.



10:03 a.m. A person turned in a found credit card at the police station.

10:49 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a lock cut at a power substation in the 38500 block of Routt County Road 51 near Hayden.



11:09 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 100 block of East Main Street.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person trespassing in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:38 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person trespassing in the 21600 block of Third Avenue in Phippsburg.

1:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $2,500 mountain bike stolen July 4 from Howelsen Hill.

1:29 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at Yampa and Sixth streets.

1:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of tools taken from a construction site along Walton Creek Road. The tools reappeared a couple of hours later.

1:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 3400 block of Covey Circle. Someone had taken two pieces of collectible Texas currency. A $5 bill and a $20 bill were taken, and each reportedly were worth $400.

2:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people going through the remains of a house that had serious fire damage in the 2600 block of Anthony Circle. They were hired to clean the property.

3:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a camera and black bag found in the first block of Ninth Street.

3:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a business owner yelling at people about trash in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 54-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of harassment.

5:51 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of gunshots in the 26200 block of Forest Service Road 409 near Clark. Nothing suspicious was found.

8:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of boys yelling while at a swimming pool in the 2800 block of Timbers Lane. Private security officers handled the situation.

9:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a camera missing from a hotel in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

10:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 11 on C.R. 129.

11:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people having sex in a bathroom at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers told the married couple not to return to the bar. They also were given summonses to appear in court for indecent exposure.

11:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a family dispute in the 2600 block of Windward Way. A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
