12:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Mount Werner Road.

2:13 a.m. Officers stopped a bicyclist who committed a traffic violation at Howelsen Parkway and Fifth Street. Police said the cyclist gave them false information, so the cyclist was issued a court summons for providing the false information and committing the traffic violation.

2:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of third-degree assault.



5:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two bear cubs in the 2800 block of Village Drive. Police said the bear cubs weren’t doing anything wrong.

10:04 a.m. Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear at Apple and Cherry drives.



11:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 600 block of Sandhill Circle.

12:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was panhandling in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police advised the person that they were trespassing.

8:50 p.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken driver on West First Street.

9:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver at Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive. The caller told police they saw the driver drinking earlier in the day. Police made contact with the driver and determined he or she was OK to drive.
