1:56 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Yampa Street. Police were unable to locate any disturbance.

5:13 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 119 of U.S. Highway 40.

8:14 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies helped a driver near mile marker 143 of U.S. 40.

8:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a pink purse that was lost near Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Parkway. The purse was found by its owner.

9:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 2500 block of Daybreak Court.

9:57 a.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of an assault in the 200 block of East Lincoln Avenue.

11:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that was chasing ducks in a pond in the 900 block of Mauna Kea Lane. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

12:53 p.m. Officers in Hayden were called to a report of someone trespassing in the 300 block of Little Bend Road.

1:30 p.m. After running a VIN check on a vehicle someone was attempting to register, police determined the vehicle had been stolen about four years ago in Jefferson County. Police think the owner of the vehicle recently purchased it without knowing it was stolen. Police contacted officials in Jefferson County to report the vehicle was recovered.

1:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone receiving threatening text messages.

10:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a purse that was stolen out of a vehicle in the 2900 block of Burgess Pines Trail.
