Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:34 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person making suicidal threats in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Circle. Officers called mental health professionals.
1:31 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken person in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
1:35 a.m. Police were called to help someone in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was intoxicated, had bought a room at a hotel, but decided he didn't want the room and demanded a refund.
2:24 a.m. Police were called to a report of loud music in the 2800 block of Elk River Road.
3:43 a.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken juvenile laying in the middle of the road at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. She then got up and started running toward the river. Officers found her walking toward Walton Creek Road and trying to find her way home, and they took her to detox.
6:04 a.m. Police were called to a report of a noninjury car crash at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
7:18 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to a noninjury crash at mile marker 2 of Routt County Road 129.
8:02 a.m. Police were called to a complaint that two mastiffs were running at large in the 1300 block of Blue Sage Drive. Animal control officers arrived and found two small heeler mixes and cited the owner of those dogs, but they did not find any mastiffs.
8:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Department Emergency responders were called to a report of a medical emergency in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.
9:14 a.m. Police tried to get a hold of someone who hasn't been heard from in several months in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue. There was nobody at the address.
10:14 a.m. Emergency responders were called to a report of a person suffering abdominal pain in the 2000 block of Longthong Road. The person's daughter arrived with medication.
11:55 a.m. Police were called to a report of shoplifting earlier in the morning in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza. Four juveniles had been caught on video shoplifting several hundred dollars’ worth of products from a convenience store. Police issued two summons and four trespass warnings.
12:14 p.m. Emergency responders were called to a report of a juvenile who took a large amount of over-the-counter pills and then complained of not feeling well in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. The person was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
1:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a suspicious incident in the 21000 block of Colorado Highway 131 near Phippsburg.
2:02 p.m. Police were called to a report of a male trespassing the first block of East Maple Street. Officers issued a warning.
2:03 p.m. Someone turned in a bicycle he or she found in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a former employee stealing from a business in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive.
4:21 p.m. Someone turned in a cable locator device found on Mount Werner.
5:57 p.m. Police were called to a report of a juvenile who had come home from school with a shotgun shell in his backpack in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. The student said his father had given it to him.
7:28 p.m. A business owner tried to stop a suspected drunken driver from leaving a restaurant in the 2100 block of Pine Grove Road. The owner thought the person had had too much to drink and called the police while standing in front of the car to stop the person from leaving.
11:07 p.m. Police were called to a disturbance in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man had taken another man's jacket by mistake and an argument ensued. When the man realized the jacket wasn't his, he gave it back.
