Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:28 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a man living in a boat by the Yampa River in Milner who was hearing gunshots. The man was told it was hunting season and that there were hunters in the area.
1:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a man who was urinating on a bush and rocks in the 700 block of Yampa Street. He was given a summons for public urination and a verbal warning for having an open container of alcohol.
12:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive.
2:46 p.m. A wallet, phone and keychain found at the Howelsen Hill ski jumps was turned in to police. The owner was contacted.
3:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a man who thought his sister was trying to cheat him out of money from a will.

3:11 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of gunshots across the river from Weiss Circle. People were shooting at clay pigeons, and no laws were being broken.
4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an $80 bike helmet stolen from Bud Werner Memorial Library.
4:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two drunk people driving mopeds in the 2700 block of Laurel Lane.
5:49 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two men arguing in the 26500 block of C.R. 43 near Steamboat. A 23-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of failing to appear in court.
7:33 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.
9:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who returned from being out of town and found a raccoon in her home in the 400 block of Blue Bell Court. The woman had tried pushing the raccoon out with a broom but was unsuccessful. The raccoon eventually left before officers arrived.
