12:01 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 39000 block of Amethyst Drive. No more information was available.

12:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a runaway juvenile in Steamboat Springs. The juvenile returned home as police responded, and everything was fine.

7:19 a.m. Police were called to a report of burglary from a business in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive where $100 to $200 reportedly was stolen overnight.



7:34 a.m. Deputies were called to an animal complaint in Phippsburg where a tri-colored Australian shepherd with no tags was at large. Officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

9:19 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 3100 block of Sweetwater Drive. Construction workers accidentally set off the alarm, and everything was fine.



12:06 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a juvenile situation in Hayden.

12:10 p.m. Police were called to an ATM alarm in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Officers found the machine likely was malfunctioning, and everything else was fine.

12:31 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a broken water pipe in the 1900 block of Curve Plaza.

12:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Mount Werner Road and Mount Werner Circle.

1:23 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of two dogs along the side of the highway in the 16000 block of Colorado Highway 131 near Yampa. Deputies took the dogs to the animal shelter.

4:37 p.m. Police were called to a report of a person missing from the 1100 block of Village Lane where a mother reported that her daughter had not come home from school. The girl was located at an after-school meeting.

5 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of a truck driving recklessly at Pine Grove Road and U.S. Highway 40.

5:16 p.m. Deputies and Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a car crash at Deluca Bridge on U.S. 40, near Hayden, where a car hit a deer. There were no injuries, but the deer was killed.

5:48 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of an unattended wood fire in a 55-gallon barrel in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

6:21 p.m. Police were called to a report of a porcupine causing problems on Howelsen Hill.

10:42 p.m. Police were called to a request for a welfare check in the 2400 block of Après Ski Way where a person reportedly saw a man walking around in a parking lot with a bag that could contain alcohol. Officers talked to the man and gave him a warning.

10:51 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Ski Trail Lane and Après Ski Way. Officers arrested a 24-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se, careless driving and driving with an open container of alcohol. Officers also arrested a 24-year-old Rhode Island man on an outstanding warrant.

11:50 p.m. Police were called to a complaint of a loud party in the 3000 block of Village Drive.
