7:05 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of trash on the road at Seventh and Oak streets. A warning was given.

7:06 a.m. Officers arrested a 28-year-old Steamboat man for failing to appear in court.

7:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident at U.S. Highway 40 and Elk River Road.



10:35 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said three male gang members were following her in a car downtown. It was a civil dispute about who owned the car the woman was driving. Police impounded the car until ownership could be proven.

11:56 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a doctor’s office on Pine Grove Road. A husband reportedly threw divorce papers at his wife’s face.



12:43 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an abandoned car on Routt County Road 44. It was tagged.

1:08 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of six cars parked in a no-parking area on Burgess Creek Road.

1:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a rock thrown through a window at a church in the 500 block of Oak Street at about 1:15 p.m. Police are investigating suspect information that was provided by a witness.

1:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who stole sushi from a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A 27-year-old Steamboat man was arrested on suspicion of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to influence a public servant.

3:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault at Colorado Mountain College, where a dorm resident was being combative to a resident adviser who was searching a room after smelling marijuana. Police do not think an assault occurred, but a 19-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and harassment.

6:14 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person who was making suicidal threats in Steamboat. The person was found.

7:17 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a drunken driver west of Steamboat on U.S. 40.

9:06 p.m. Officers stopped a car on East Maple Street and arrested a 59-year-old on suspicion of driving under the influence.

11:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A man reportedly had walked up and down all the shopping aisles in the convenience store and had been in the restroom for 20 minutes. The man left and police were unable to find him.
