Police, fire and ambulance calls


11:46 a.m.
Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who was threatened in the 2600 block of South Copper Frontage. A business owner reported he was contacted by a contractor who had done some work, and the contractor said he was going to break the business owner's legs if he was not paid.

1:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors yelling at each other about loud music in the 2300 block of Penny Lane.

1:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a driver’s license.

3:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a three-car, noninjury accident at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

4:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who had used a stolen credit card at a gas station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.

4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a $3,000 necklace at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.

4:26 p.m. A person came to the police department and reported losing a wallet at Gondola Square.

4:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury accident at Ninth and Oak streets.

5:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft. A person in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza reported having listed a $3,800 diamond ring on Craigslist. The person found a buyer and mailed the ring to North Carolina before being paid. The person was never paid.

5:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a $10,000 ring at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
