12:37 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers issued a verbal warning to a loud party in the 400 block of Parkview Drive.
3:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a 500-pound bear that was trying to get on a porch. An officer shot it with nonlethal rounds, and it left the area.
7 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a deer that looked exhausted or sick by the road near Mad Creek trailhead on Routt County Road 129. The deer was gone when officers arrived.
11:01 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of harassment at a business in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 40. Deputies issued a warning and put a civil protection order in place.
12:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone's ex-partner trespassing. Officers issued a verbal warning.
2:23 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a panic alarm in the 41000 block of Routt County Road 44, where responders helped an elderly woman who had fallen.

2:58 p.m. Deputies were called to help a person who claimed they found a pile of wood that belonged to them on someone else's property. The wood had been missing since October 2011.
3:35 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a driver giving inappropriate hand gestures to another driver. Deputies gave the driver a verbal warning.
4:10 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person hitchhiking and jumping in front of cars south of Yampa on Colorado Highway 131. Deputies warned the man to stay out of traffic.
6:11 p.m. Deputies and Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of bears on a porch in the 30000 block of Elk Lane. When law enforcement arrived, the bears had left the porch after doing minimal damage to the property.
6:52 p.m. Officers helped a driver find his or her condo at Central Park Drive and Pine Grove Road.
7:09 p.m. A man reported to an officer that someone hit his truck in a parking lot in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A witness told the officer that they saw a shopping cart hit the truck after it was pushed by a gust of wind.
7:19 p.m. A mom bear and a few cubs were crawling in a tree on Anglers Drive.
11:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that had strewn trash around in the 3000 block of Whistler Road. The bear had gotten into a bear-proof trash can.
