1:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers found a dog loose at Walton Creek and Whistler road and took it to the shelter.

2:01 a.m. Officers contacted a person at Fourth Street and Lincoln Avenue and gave a ticket for public urination.

2:12 a.m. Officers contacted an intoxicated person in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:34 a.m. Officers investigated a suspicious car in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza and found someone sleeping inside.

2:58 a.m. Officers contacted an intoxicated person at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue and took the person to detox.

6:16 a.m. Officers checked on the welfare of a person in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

8:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a found wallet in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The wallet was returned to its owner.

10:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a missing elderly person in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive. The person was found on a bus.

10:44 a.m. Officers helped Colorado Division of Wildlife officers with a bear cub that was stranded on an island in the Yampa River near the first block of Anglers Drive. Officers helped reunite the cub with its mother.

11:28 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found at U.S. Highway 40 and Mount Werner Road. The wallet was returned to its owner.

1:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken window in the 2000 block of Snow Bowl Plaza.

1:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible missing young adult in the 200 block of Willett Heights Trail. The person was found.

2:23 p.m. Officers helped Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders with a man who was experiencing stomach pain in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle.

3:45 p.m. Officers helped emergency responders with an intoxicated woman in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. She was taken to the hospital and then to detox.

6:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of rocks on the road in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the first block of Anglers Drive. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

9:34 p.m. Officers helped emergency responders with someone on Conifer Circle.

10:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise at a bar in the first block of Seventh Street. Officers asked people at the bar to close the door.

11:52 p.m. Officers stopped a car at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza and arrested a 38-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of driving under the influence.
