8:40 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a crash near mile marker 56 on Colorado Highway 131.

9:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a trailer blocking traffic at Aspen Wood Drive and Steamboat Boulevard. It was not blocking traffic.

9:31 a.m. A person came to the Sheriff’s Office and reported a theft.



9:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue who had received 10 calls from the U.S. Census Bureau in the past two days and the person did not want to talk to them.

11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck that ran a person off the road near Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. The driver of the truck was contacted and given a written warning.



2:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

3:56 p.m. Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear at Emerald Park.

6:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit a car door that was opened while parked at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 1300 block of Manitou Avenue. A person reported receiving a card that said the person had an unclaimed prize.

7:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear going through trash at a restaurant in the 100 block of Trafalgar Drive. It was chased away.

9:01 p.m. Officers stopped a car with a defective tail light in the 2900 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An 18-year-old Yampa man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance related to prescription drugs.

10:39 p.m. Deputies and West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of an accident at Routt County roads 51 and 51A near Hayden. No one was injured.
