1:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers checked on a couple of people in a parked vehicle at Short and Pine streets. Everything was OK.

1:29 a.m. Officers pulled over a 26-year-old Steamboat Springs man who was driving a car with expired plates. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

2:17 a.m. Officers found and arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat Springs woman on suspicion of DUI, careless driving, failure to notify police of an accident and leaving the scene of an accident. The woman was turning from Walton Creek Road onto Whistler Road and struck a Go Alpine taxi waiting at the stop sign. Police said the woman kept driving. Officers eventually found her car parked in a parking lot and arrested her.

6:27 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a fire alarm in the 31000 block of County Road 22. It was a false alarm.

7:36 a.m. Officers pulled over an aggressive driver and gave him or her a warning.

9:03 a.m. Officers put down a fox that was hit and injured along U.S. Highway 40 at Mount Werner Road.

10:27 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway. Everything was secure.

10:29 a.m. Multiple dogs at large were reported in West End Village where they were leaving messes in other people's yards. The dogs were gone when

officers arrived.

10:51 a.m. Someone complained about vehicles parked on Windward Way.

11 a.m. Kids were fishing near the edge of the ice at Fetcher Pond. Officers asked the kids to move back from the edge of the ice.

11:18 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of dead cows in a pasture across from the Hayden rest area near Yampa River State Park. The incident is under investigation.

11:21 a.m. A hit-and-run was reported in the 3000 block of Apr├Ęs Ski Way, where the owner of a vehicle discovered damage to his car. A report was taken.

12:32 p.m. Officers cited someone for theft for using their roommate's season ski pass to Steamboat Ski Area.

1:18 p.m. Officers responded to the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive for a report of an infant unrestrained in the front seat of a car. Officers couldn't find the car.

1:23 p.m. Skis that were left overnight at the ski area were reported stolen when the owner returned for them the next day. A report was taken.

3:32 p.m. Officers responded to Mount Werner Circle for a report of an intoxicated man who got into his vehicle and drove off. The driver could not be located.

4:33 p.m. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle for a report of a man who was acting suspiciously on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus. Officers couldn't find the man.

5:02 p.m. A dog at large was reported at Ninth and Oak streets. Two dogs were taken to the animal shelter for safe keeping.

6:03 p.m. Deputes responded to an animal complaint in the 26000 block of U.S. 40. Cattle that were on the railroad tracks were put back in their pasture.

6:35 p.m. There was a report of children throwing snowballs at cars on Walton Creek Road. The kids were gone when officers arrived.

8:25 p.m. A man called police to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant.

8:40 p.m. A child pulled the fire alarm at a condo in the 2000 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Officers warned the kid and his or her parents.

9:51 p.m. Deputies responded to Yampa for a couple that was screaming at one another. Both were warned.

10:06 p.m. A noise complaint was made in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza. A verbal warning was issued.

10:40 p.m. An elderly man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center after falling in Yampa.

11:09 p.m. Deputies responded to a complaint about a barking dog in the 27000 block of Silver Spur.
