Steamboat Springs — 12:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about loud noise on Pagosa Court. Officers issued a verbal warning.
2:37 a.m. Police were called to the 600 block of Tamarack Drive. A man reportedly found a 5- or 6-year-old girl walking around a condo complex by herself. When the man returned the girl to her home, her mother reportedly was passed out. Officers spoke with the mother and the girl, and everything was fine.
3:10 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious SUV parked at Seventh and Yampa streets. Officers determined the driver had permission to park there.
3:13 a.m. Police were called to a report of a dispute between an employee and her ex-boyfriend at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue. The boyfriend was gone when officers arrived.
8:52 a.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose at Oak and 11th streets. The dog had tags from Salt Lake City. Officers called the owner and took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
9:30 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a runner who had fallen during the Steamboat Marathon. The runner got up before an ambulance arrived.
9:55 a.m. Police were called to a report of construction equipment blocking a right-of-way in an alley near Logan Street. Officers mediated the situation.
11:11 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the 300 block of West Pearl Street in Hayden for a burglary alarm. It was a false alarm.
11:20 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a domestic argument in Hayden. The people were separated.
12:16 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responders were called to a report of a runner who had fallen. No more information was available.
1:33 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose in the 400 block of Mountain Vista Circle.
2:03 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a 52-year-old man who wasn't feeling well. He was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
2:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a truck that drove into a storage unit in the 800 block of Weiss Circle. There were no injuries.
3:36 p.m. Deputies were called to the 28000 block of Valley View Lane for a complaint about a gun being shot across someone's property.
4:25 p.m. Police took a report about a labradoodle found in the 500 block of Mountain Vista Circle that was dropped off at the animal shelter.
4:40 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a crash at Routt County roads 33 and 179. One person was transported to YVMC with minor injuries.
4:47 p.m. Police were called to a report of a highly intoxicated man in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officers took the 45-year-old man to detox.
5:40 p.m. Police and emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance on Tamarack Drive. A 54-year-old man reported chest pain and was taken to the hospital.
6:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of an abandoned building flooded in the 2100 block of Burgess Creek Road. Officers notified Steamboat Springs Public Works employees.
7:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man reported that another man hit him. Officers arrested a 44-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of second-degree assault. No major injuries were reported and no ambulance was called.
7:47 p.m. Police were called to a report of a bear cub in a tree in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. An officer stayed on scene until a Colorado Division of Wildlife officer arrived.
7:53 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman on a bicycle reportedly heard someone honking repeatedly and was concerned. Officers could not find the source of the noise.
8:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 21000 block of U.S. Highway 40.
10:21 p.m. Deputies were called to the intersection of county roads 129 and 60 for a report of campers using a chainsaw to cut firewood.
10:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of an intoxicated person in the 1300 block of Skyview Lane. The person was taken to the hospital.
10:56 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint from a resident in Dream Island Plaza. The person was upset that the manager of the mobile home park was not placing enough sandbags to mitigate the flooding. Officers did not take any action.
11:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of three people reportedly smoking marijuana in an alley between Lincoln Avenue and Yampa Street, between Sixth and Seventh streets. The people ran away.
