Steamboat Springs — 2:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an open door in the 100 block of Seventh Street. Everything was fine.
2:30 a.m. Police were called to a report of a juvenile situation on Spring Creek Trail. Officers gave three juveniles a warning.
5:40 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies and Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of an elk by the side of the road near mile marker 115 on U.S. Highway 40. The elk reportedly looked like it had been hit by a car, and officers put it down.
7:56 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a trash truck losing trash near mile marker 124 on U.S. 40. Deputies notified the trash company.
9:13 a.m. Deputies and Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a car passing in the wrong lane on Routt County Road 76. Deputies couldn't find the car.
9:48 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a dog harassing a neighbor dog in the 40000 block of Haven Place. Deputies gave the harassing dog's owner a warning.
11:05 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
11:21 a.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in the Steamboat area for an 84-year-old woman who reportedly was dizzy. Medical crews took the woman to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
11:42 a.m. Police were called to a report of wallet stolen in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
1:28 p.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 2900 block of Ridge Road. A cleaning crew accidentally set off the alarm, and everything was fine.
3:08 p.m. Police arrested a 20-year-old Denver man at the police station on a warrant for distribution of marijuana.
3:18 p.m. Deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to the back parking lot at the Sheriff's Office for a 63-year-old Ohio man who reportedly had a heart attack while driving through Steamboat Springs. Deputies and medical crews gave the man CPR and medical crews took him to YVMC where he later died.
4:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car crash in the 300 block of Old Dairy Lane. There were no injuries.
6:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 400 block of Gilpin Street where a person thought someone entered his house and sprayed his dog with water. The dog was in a kennel and was not injured.
6:41 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of trespassing on C.R. 17 where cattle reportedly were taken over private property.
7:23 p.m. Police and DOW officers were called to a report of wildlife in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue where several ducklings and their mother reportedly were trying to cross the highway. The ducks eventually went to the area near Spring Creek, and a DOW officer found that several of them had made it to the Yampa River safely.
8:28 p.m. Police were called to a report of an apparently intoxicated man in his 60s in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The man, wearing only underwear, was reportedly trying to sleep in a flowerbed.
9:50 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance.
10:19 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint at the skatepark in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive.
10:29 p.m. Police were called to a report of a juvenile situation in the Steamboat area.
10:47 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disagreement between two people in the 1400 block of Athens Plaza. The people were separated when officers arrived.
