Steamboat Springs — 12:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers talked to a woman who was intoxicated near Seventh and Oak streets. Officers gave her a ride home.
1:48 a.m. Police and Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a burglary alarm at a gas station in the 35000 block of U.S. Highway 40. Everything was fine.
2:46 a.m. Police and Colorado Division of Wildlife officers were called to a report of a bear trying to get into a house in the 900 block of Pine Street. Officers chased the bear away, and there was no damage to the house.
3:51 a.m. Police were called to a report of nine juveniles trespassing in a pool at One Steamboat Place. Officers issued several tickets for minors in possession of alcohol, and the juveniles' parents were called.
7:20 a.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about horses on the road on Routt County Road 41. Deputies called the owner.
7:48 a.m. Police were called to a report of a car in a ditch at Sunburst Court and Meadow Lane. Officers determined that the owner parked the car in the ditch on purpose, and everything was fine.
9:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance at a bank in the 2100 block of Resort Drive where a man reportedly was upset with a teller. The man was gone when officers arrived.
10:08 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A couple was disagreeing about custody issues, and police told the couple it was a civil concern.
10:25 a.m. Police were called to a report of a bicycle stolen from the first block of Eighth Street on Sunday. No value was available.
11:06 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.
11:19 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Anglers Court. A woman reported that during the night somebody apparently took the skirting off the backside of her mobile home and turned the lights on in her unlocked car. Nothing was reported stolen.
12:30 p.m. Police were called to a request to check on a woman in her 30s in the 500 block of Eaglepointe Court. The woman only would talk to officers via telephone, but everything was fine.
12:51 p.m. Police were called to a report of $10 stolen from a purse at Bud Werner Memorial Library.
2:03 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a request for an ambulance for a 73-year-old man who reportedly fainted. The man refused medical help, and everything was fine.
2:04 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a request for an ambulance for a man who was injured while tubing the Yampa River. Medical crews took the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
2:54 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.
4:10 p.m. Police were called to a report of a $43 gas skip in the first block of Anglers Drive.
5:12 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request to check on an apparently intoxicated man passed out at a bus stop at Central Park Plaza. Officers released the man to a sober friend.
5:42 p.m. Deputies arrested a 31-year-old Craig man after a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 40 on the west side of Steamboat. The man was charged with driving under the influence, DUI per se, child abuse, no seat belt on a passenger, no child restraint, no driver's license and driving with an open container of alcohol.
9:51 p.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue where a man reported that the top to his convertible was cut open. No value for the damage was available.
10:14 p.m. Police found a juvenile couple in a car on Boulder Ridge Road and asked them to leave.
11:57 p.m. Police found people camping in a motor home at the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association in the 100 block of Anglers Drive. Officers had talked to the people before and asked them to leave.
