Steamboat Springs — 12:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a request for an ambulance near Steamboat Ski Area where a 20-year-old man reportedly fell down a flight of stairs and was unconscious. Medical crews took the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
12:55 p.m. Police were called to a report of an unauthorized use of a ski pass in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. Officers issued a summons.
2:24 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road where a woman reported that one of her roommates in a condo was selling drugs. The woman did not know the roommate because they had found the room online, and the man reportedly selling drugs left when the woman said she was calling the police. Officers could not find him.
3:02 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious person at Soda Creek Elementary School, where a man in a ski mask reportedly was yelling obscenities as he rode around the parking lot on a cruiser bicycle. The man was gone when officers arrived.
3:36 p.m. Troopers, deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a two-car crash at U.S. Highway 40 and C.R. 20. A shuttle van with nine people inside reportedly hit a car as it tried to pass it. The van and the car went off the side of the road, and the van rolled 3/4 times. Medical crews took an 18-year-old woman with a minor head injury, the driver of the car, to YVMC. No other injuries were reported, and troopers gave the van driver a ticket for careless driving.
11:39 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fight among three men in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Officers talked to two of the men but could not find the third. The third man was described as a having a mohawk and wearing pink panties over his pink snow pants. Officers could not find the man.
